Road to success/How this drawing was made:-
This was a very exciting completely new type of drawing - I first designed a maze and as you can see the black mountboard is cut in the shape of this maze then the image itself is drawn to fit inside the roads running through the maze!!! -
I have then used the twists and turns of the maze to represent the never ending ways one can achieve success including a selection of physical and mental obstacles to make it more like the real thing - It is also possible to build up the maze with extra layers of mountboard and to achieve a three dimensional effect casting real shadows on the image!!!!
Please note this is only the preliminary image and what you see are the tissue paper sketches which I am currently using to construct the original pen and ink drawing - I will add new photos as the drawing progresses
